Since September 1998, Hu’u, pronounced as “who” and named after a small surfers paradise community located in Java, has jazzed up the local club scene.

Located in the splendor of the Singapore Art Museum, Hu’u is the first and only Acid Jazz bar in Singapore. An ambient lounge with plush couches, a 400 sq-ft bar and an enormous outdoor seating section ensure that the decor is elegantly understated and mellow. With an emphasis on premium service and drinks, the bar has developed as much of a reputation for potent cocktails as it has with the silky, smooth music that plays nightly. The music is a eclectic blend, incorporating elements of house music, disco, funk and soul. Quality is the key to the success of the bar, with Kilkenny on tap to Lafite wines, guests even indulge in the readily available, best of Cuban and Dominican cigars.
